Heidi Montag Splits With Husband Spencer Pratt

Oh, how sweet it is when certain cookies crumble, and this crumbling took less then two years!

News is out that fake celebrity Heidi Montag has split with her doubly fake, and irritating husband Spencer Pratt.

One of Heidi's minions told TMZ,

"Heidi is looking to move out due to all the fake bad press that Spencer controls. She's tired of it and is looking for a place and wants to focus on her acting career and is looking for her own home in Malibu".

Just last month the two celebufakes called the police on Heidi's mother when she apparently showed up at their house uninvited, and who can forgot Spencer's baby antics on the MTV series "I'm a celebrity get me out of here". Police actually got involved when the reality shows producer's feared Pratt's "threats of terror" toward the production staff had gone too far.

Now that this celebrity emergency is over we can get back to work on the economy, oil spill, European collapse, and a host of other more pressing issues.

Matt Lauer Divorce Turns Into Laughs On The Today Show - Video

Meredith Vieira put her foot in her mouth Monday morning on the Today show by asking about Matt Lauer's marriage. It seems Lauer has a hard time staying married, and the subject is supposed to be "off limits" while on air.

Introducing a segment on the "right age to get married," Vieira said, "I got married in my 30s, when did you get married?"

Lauer, who married TV producer Nancy Alspaugh when he was in his early twenties, was divorced seven years later. Lauer stumbled, fumbled for words, and then laughed, as an embarrassed Vieira erupted into laughter and producers made comments from the sidelines.

Lauer's current marriage to Dutch model Annette Roque is also in trouble, and has been the source of tabloid gossip for some time. The couple has been married for 7 years and has three children.

Rogue originally filed for divorce in September 2006, but changed her mind and withdrew the papers a month later. If the two divorce, Matt would be forced to share his estimated $50 million fortune.

Official: Madonna And Guy Ritchie To Divorce By Christmas

Madonna looked exhausted and frazzled as she returned to her New York apartment last night - as friends and media reports asserted she and Guy Ritchie would be divorced by the holidays.

After almost six months of rumor, the Hollywood power couple is expected to terminate their eight-year marriage.

According to reports, the couple will be issuing a statement within the next two days, after a series of "shouting matches" spoiled their current attempts at reconciliation.

A crafty divorce settlement could pocket director Guy Ritchie close to $50 million, and the couple does not have a pre-nuptial agreement.

Reports suggest that Madonna has already hired Fiona Shackleton, the lawyer who helped Paul McCartney in his courtroom encounter with Heather Mills, and who helped him lower her take on his $600 million to only $20 million.

A declaration by Ritchie for a portion of Madonna's wealth would be based on their 10-year marriage, his support of her career and the fact that they have two children together, Rocco, eight, and David Banda, two.

Madonna's resolve to adopt a second child from Africa is rumored to be one of the major reasons for the divorce. Ritchie aggressively disagrees with the idea of adding more children to the family by adopting third world children, and their marriage was placed under tremendous strain several years ago when they adopted David from Malawi.

It is not clear where Madonna's daughter Lourdes, 12, Rocco and David will live after the divorce.

The two were married at Skibo Castle in Scotland in December 2000, just five months after the singer gave birth to their son Rocco. Madonna is also mother to Lourdes, 12, from a previous relationship to Carlos Leon.

Madonna is currently on the road performing with her world concert tour, and Guy Ritchie is currently directing the adventure mystery film "Sherlock Holmes", due next year and starring Robert Downey Jr., Rachel McAdams and Jude Law.

The film is an adaptation of the famous detective series where Detective Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) and his stalwart partner Watson (Jude Law) engage in a battle of wits and brawn with a nemesis whose plot is a threat to all of England.

Chris Kattan Files For Separation From Wife Of Eight Weeks

Things sure do move fast in Hollywood sometimes.

Former Saturday Night Live funny man Chris Kattan and his new wife of eight weeks have filed for legal separation. The reason stated was irreconcilable differences, and, according to the petition there is a prenuptial agreement dated June 23, 2008.

No minor children are involved.

Kattan began dating Sunshine Tutt, 31, more then 3 years ago after meeting her at a birthday party. The couple married on June 28th of this year.

A representative for Kattan told reporters, "They've got issues they're trying to work out. It's not a divorce right now, but they are taking time apart."

Somehow we knew this one wouldn't last…

Kattan has no less then six movie projects underway for the 2008-2009 movie season.

First is "Tanner Hall" due later this year, about a vivid look into the private world of an all-girls boarding school. Also completed is the animated adventure comedy "Foodfight" starring Charlie Sheen, Hilary Duff, Eva Longoria Parker and Christopher Lloyd, where chaos reigns supreme for the products in this grocery store when the lights are turned off and the doors are locked.

In production for 2009 is "Hard Breakers", a comedy centered on two single girls working the dating scene in Los Angeles. Also due next year is "Hollywood & Wine" starring Pamela Anderson, Vivica A. Fox, David Spade and Jeremy London - the story about mistaken identity and Hollywood backstabbing.
